AyQueChevere Productions is a California corporation specializing in event production. As part of our corporate responsibility, we strive to reduce our carbon footprint by making our events eco friendly and green.
We also look to support non-profit organizations in our fight against domestic violence, as well as local groups that
promote the Arts. A percentage of all profits go to support these great causes.
CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Domestic Violence - abuse against a spouse, significant other, child, or loved one, is a horrific crime against woman and children that often has lifelong harmful effects and usually goes unreported .
Domestic violence appears in many ways and abusers use numerous abusive techniques in order to control the behavior victim. Abuse includes threats, emotional abuse, harassment, physical violence, and even stalking. Also distressing is the effects on witnesses of violence, usually children who are not only damaged by an environment of violence, but are more likely to continue the tradition of violence in their own lives. One in every four woman will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.
Historically, females have been most often victimized by someone they knew. Females who are 20 - 24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence.
The Taste of the World Festival Organizers find these statistics to be appalling. We vow to take a strong stance against domestic abuse. A portion of every ticket sold at each and every one of our events will be donated to local nonprofit organizations in the greater Los Angeles.
